Question about custom companions.

Ive seen maybe 2 tutorials on how to setup a custom companion via quest recruiting.

 

My question is, can I simply just have my companion already allied to me? For example, I'll make the custom companion, place it in the world via CK, and when I go in game I should be able to issue commands like Follow, Wait, Go, etc and dismiss it.

 

Basically skipping the quest dialogue process and just having the thing already allied to you the moment you start the game. As if its already a follower, its just wandering about.

Sure? It only takes two fragments of code to set/dismiss a follower. As long as you attach them to a follow/dismiss dialogue you are good to go, unless you plan on having that companion follow you around forever. Edited by Gersidi76
