ninja_lord666
For the creature models, you need a 3D program like 3ds Max or Blender; the latter is free. You need a 2D program like Photoshop or Gimp for textures; again, the latter is free. As for the animations...I don't know what program you'd need.Yes, it is very, very difficult. There are, in fact, only a few people who can actually do animations. Out of curiosity, what type of creature are you planning to make?
Septim741
The easiest thing to do is modify/retexture the vanilla Oblivion creatures and make sure the model fits the animation and doesn't look goofy.
ninja_lord666
Oblivion doesn't handle flying creatures too well (pathing). Even if you make it, it'll be quite terrible, no offense to your skill. If I were you, I'd give up on that wyvern and just stick to land animals. Septim741
First i was thinking of making some kind of wyvern...and try to make it with akatosh animations, if is possible ****************************...and there are few other ideas... Now there's an idea. Make a modification of the Akatosh mount mod and and change it to be a wyvern and all. I'd even texture if for you if you needed the help. I can see this going somewhere. If you talk to some of the guys on the official forums, they have invaluable knowedge and advice to get you on your way and solve any problems you may have.
