CalibanX Posted November 29, 2011 Share Posted November 29, 2011 In my first playthrough I did the main quest with an Orc and got to be a fairly efficient Dragon slayer. Berserk is great for killing Dragons. Anyway, I'm on my second playthrough now and not really doing much in the main quest, but this time with a Mage focusing in Illusion and Conjuration and wow, the Dragons are much more terrifying. Granted, I do have a mod running that makes them tougher and I play on Master, but wow, what a difference. I much prefer Dragons as a random source of terror that must be run from. Killing them eventually lost some of it's novelty, now, I feel like I've accomplished something if I can just escape from them. Much cooler! And if you think about it, the Dragons in this game really are majestic, beautiful creatures better meant to inspire awe and terror than just another boss fight. CalibanX Posted November 29, 2011 Author Share Posted November 29, 2011 (edited) Well I'm only Level 9 right now so summoning Daedra Lords isn't an option. I am trying to go for the "summon monster, turn invisible" strategy. Untill I get high enough level to make it really work the Dragons utterly crush me. For now, the best strategy for me is to sprint away as fast as my High Elf legs can go. It's really entertaining. I love being terrified of them. I think the mod was just called "Tougher Dragons".
