Cant pick up items out of enemies or bags

Hey guys,

 

I reinstalled my game yesterday and installed some mods.. after that, I couldnt loot enemies or even bags.

I tried disabling every mod, but that doesn't help either. I even tried starting a new game and the verify integrity of game cache button in Steam.

 

Hope you can help me.

Did you install to the default Steam location under "C:\Program Files"? If so, read the wiki article "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" under my signature and move it.

 

It's always useful to post your "load order" (LO: in "Spoiler" tags. Use the "Special BBCode" button in the "Reply" menu bar). LOOT can copy your LO into a file suitable for posting here. (It's under the ":" with three dots to the extreme right in it's menu bar.)

 

Generally if disabling mods doesn't help you pin down the culprit, it's due to some vanilla file being overwritten by a mod. "Disabling" won't fix that. You have to uninstall mods (or re-install the game and start over, installing and testing one at a time).

 

When you verified the game integrity did you rename the INI files in your "C:\Users\<YourAccountName>\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV" folder, and let the game rebuild them?

Then I suggest you read the wiki article "FNV General Mod Use Advice" before you try re-installing all your mods.
