David Brasher
The main quest broke. Delphine won't stop trying to kill me. I don't even know what I did to make her mad except getting lost and being slow to reach the rendezvous point. She will not accept my yield. She is essential, so I can't kill her, and even if I did, that would probably break the main quest. Delphine is such a nasty person that when she can't find me to try to kill, she just tries to kill Lydia instead. Lydia doesn't like that and tries to kill Delphine. Esbern just stands around and acts like nothing is wrong as the rest of the party falls apart and tries to kill each other. These approaches have not worked: (1) Yielding. (2) Console code "Kill" (She is still mad when KnockedState == 0 again.) (3) Console codes Disable / Enable. (She is still mad when re-enabled.) (4) ModDisposition Player 100 (Does not seem to be a Skyrim console code.) (5) Console code "SCAOnActor" (She says a line about the mission and then tries to kill me again.) (6) ModAV Aggression -100 (7) Running away and then waiting 3 game hours. ( 8 ) Exiting game and reloading. Maybe I could disable her and PlaceAtMe a nice clean copy of her that doesn't hate me and want to kill me. But that might break the main quest. Does anyone have any good ideas about how I could salvage my broken game? Edited November 29, 2011 by David Brasher
David Brasher
I finally figured it out. PlaceAtMe does not work with this syntax in Skyrim. Aggression in Skyrim is not on a 0-100 scale like it is in Oblivion. It said that 5 was not an acceptable value. I have seen NPCs with values of 0 and 1. A value of 0 appears to be equal to 5 in Oblivion. A value of 1 appears to be equal to something like 10 or 15 or higher in Oblivion. I will have to check out a beast or a bandit next time I think about it. So what I had to do was disable Delphine, use "SetAV Aggression 0," and then use "Enable."
