LE Here's one way to marry a Khajiit/Wood Elf...

Sorry if this has been mentioned or posted before, or even if this is in the wrong topic, but I thought this might help some people who would like to marry a Khajiit/Wood Elf, or simply a different female Argonian.

 

First, find an NPC (male or female) whose voice you like, that can also be a follower/marriage candidate. Finding one who is both has the most benefits.

Next, click on your follower, and type in the console code: setrace khajiit

Voila! You now have a spouse who is exactly what you want it to be. Don't want a Khajiit spouse? Substitute Khajiit for any other race (setrace woodelf) and watch the magic!

This can be used for any/all races. This is funniest when you turn your follower into a dog, because they can talk to you and still hold your stuff.

One thing about this: the voice will remain the same. So you won't get the Khajiit accent :(

Note: when this was tested, there was no inventory loss. I tested this out on Derkeethus, and all the ebony armor/items/food I had given him stayed on him even after the 20+ transformations I did to him.

Are there bugs glitches to this? Well, sort of... some NPCs look a little weird when they're turned into a different race. For example, when I turned Derkeethus (a green argonian) into a Khajiit, he turned into a green Khajiit. However, the other races were just fine.

 

 

Other helpful tidbits: Turning NPCs into vampires and followers into whatever the heck you want.

 

Want your follower to be a vampire? Easy. Click on them, type in setrace argonianracevampire, or substitute argonian for any other race. Just make sure the basic formula looks like this: setrace (desired race)racevampire.

Curing them is as simple as typing in setrace argonian (or whichever race they were originally) and they will revert back to how they used to look before you messed with them.

You can also turn your follower into any animal you want. Dog is the most useful transformation because they can still talk and hold your items. Wolf is another fun transformation, but they tend to not help out in battles as much as a dog does.

 

WARNING: If you turn your follower into a dragon, the game may crash. Always save before testing transformations on your friends. :D

 

Now all we need is a mod to replace some voices to match the race.

Changing the voice file MIGHT be doable if you find the followers voice files, then go find a khajiit voice file and rename the followers to the khajiit's. :) This might break the marriage script though, since I guess they have to have scripts in them to set off the marriage flags... I dunno though.
