Oblivion Armours compatible with Skyrim?

I know the nif.file are different but if I could convert them to match would the armour look right on a skyrim character? I'm mostly looking into doing this with Relics of the Crusader if that helps answer my question. Thanks in advance.

I've seen a handful of imported mod items from Oblivion. Some seemed to work fine, others however had rigging issues that I'm not sure can be addressed through NifSkope. You could give it a go, though remember uploading mods that are direct imports of resources from another game (including other Bethesda games) is not allowed on the Nexus. Either do it for personal use, or find a mod of the items you want to import and get permission from the author (if necessary, some authors allow you to use there work without explicit permission).
