ClearanceClarence
Hello ! I have created a replacer for the bottlecaps in fallout 4 with a new mesh and texture. However I have a small problem. When the bottlecap lies on it's back half of the mesh goes through the ground. When it's the right way up it sits perfectly :O If anyone would be willing to take a look at my nif file and help me sort out this small problem that would be greatly appreciated :D Here is a screenshot where you can see the mesh falling though the floor: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/17729-0-1472206890.jpg Here is a link to the nif file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/9k95er1bb91lz5c/BottleCapSingle.nif All help is appreciated ! :D
radiumskull
Looks very much like a collision problem. Is your new bottlecap mesh in the same position as the old one, relative to its collision geometry?
ClearanceClarence
I figured it was a collision problem, Yes the new mesh is in the exact same possition as the old one. The new vap is a bit taller than the old one but I have no idea on how to edit collision geometry :/
radiumskull
If the new mesh is a different size, then collision is probably exactly what's going on. Here's a place to start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oPvOx2KH4s
