Sheep!

Behold the Icelandic Sheep!

Now, I'm not sure if it's the norm for the other Scandinavian countries, but here in Iceland, particularly in the more rural towns (i.e. 80+% of the population), we have a number of pastures and wide expanses of grassy mountainous terrain that stretches on.. well.. pretty much right up until you reach the next town. As a result of this, and a general lacking in large predatory animals, we don't really have much of a need to keep our sheep fenced in little boxes and such; and instead let our sheep roam the mountains and pastures of their own accord, with a few wire fences to keep them out of the towns and off the roads (which NEVER FREAKING WORKS).

As such, a common jest amongst Icelanders is that of how stubborn and idiotic sheep can be since they tend to flock out onto the main roads and get in the way of cars, getting into outright staring contests until you actually have to bump one of them gently with your car just to cause enough of a panic to scatter them - 'lest you spend the next three hours honking your horn at them in annoyance.

These sheep are also completely unsupervised, save for when they stray into town, or are in need of being herded together for shearing, meaning that they truly just wander about as they please, eventually returning to their home territory when grass becomes sparser the higher up the mountains they go, or it gets colder and they need shelter.

So why do I bring this little anecdote up? Because in Skyrim there are no sheep. Seriously. Where do the nords get all of their clothes? Pelts? Kind of an insane thing to do, go out and get into a potentially fatal encounter with a bear and wolves just in order to not freeze to death. And even if you just hunt the deer, you're still pushin' your luck given you need to feed and clothe that many people just just deer pelts. And you can't kill your cattle, because you need those for milk!

So what I suggest someone make once the Creation Kit comes out is.. sheep. Free-roaming sheep that travel the world and the mountains. Why free-roaming? Because that's just awesome. Also gives you some free meat and wool to harvest out in the wild without someone running up to you all "Hey! Don't kill mah livestock!"

Sheeps are already in game or at least a variant 'goat'... minor changes to them and you have sheeps

spawn a few in protected grassy areas near cities and villages... there are aggressive wolves and other beasts in skyrim so they have to be fenced in...

Making giant hawks would be awesome too

that was the easy part

Here comes a more difficult one making boars...

Slightly related, and self affirming, I did do a bump up of the not so aggressive creature spawns in one of my mods by request. [see below] In terms of adding sheep specifically, would need to add the models, animation and textures, to which unless they were on my computer, I couldn't add. Perhaps ask someone who's added creatures to oblivion/fo3/nvegas.
