some questlines continued, I mean take the college of winterhold, after completing that questline you are arch-mage, but you usually just go do some other questline without having any responsibilities or whats o ever, at least let you have to go back once a month to register some stuff, an another good thing would be to get new quest as leader, like commanding a mages army to recover a certain item, or to fight against the synod, or stormcloaks or imperials if you are also doing the civil-war questline, and that's just the college of Winterhold. You can also do this with the DB, stuff like assassinate members of Molag bal and put up more sanctuaries, maybe even help Imperial assassins to recover certain items or kill people how block them to help them put up sanctuaries in Cyrodiil etc.

UI Overhaul.

Like most RPG's they have "Buff" Icons on screen that quickly allow you to hover over the icon to tell you what bonuses you have, without going through the magic menu.

A Better Inventory similar to SKYUI but without the 3rd party program that is just as good as SKYUI.

Sort by slots, not alphabetical.

Have a visual equipment menu that shows your slots, and what is equipped in them, Similar to how Runescape (IKR WTF?) has their Inventory system.

...Bethesda just favored consoles when making the game...

Mine would be combat from horseback. I love riding the horses, but I wish that you could do something while on the horse. Is the Dovakiin so bad at horseback riding that he has to hold on to the saddle with his hands? Should be a horsemanship perk tree branch that lets you get better at it until you can gallop past an enemy and slice it with a sword or axe. Could also be a spearing perk so that you could lance an enemy. Then, you could even expand it further and have jousting tournaments in the game.

An older and much less well known game called Mount & Blade has these features. It is also a medieval RPG. It's combat system is more advanced than Bethesda's but the role playing aspect is not nearly as good. A 'dream game' would be to have the combat of Mount & Blade with the story telling and role playing of Skyrim.

Maybe a talented modder over on the M&B nexus page could team up with a great modder for Skyrim and make a mod that lets you do these things from horseback.

My dream mods?

being able to play assassin's creed on Skyrim :P

just think about it

you can climb on mountains, buildings, or basically anywhere

there's gonna be big cities with a lot of people you can have fun with (usually by killing)

Also adding the AC style killmoves would be awesome as hell! lol

well another mod is

adding Metal Gear Rising cutting styles on Skyrim

I'm pretty sure most of you guys saw the trailer (

)

Imagine that you can cut anything, trees, foods, rocks, metals, animals, monsters, etc..

you can throw a guard on the air, going to slow motion with awesome sound effect,

slice him into any direction you want.. ( watch the video from 1:55 If you don't understand what I'm talking about)

It's kinda sad that the developers restarted the entire project with features that ruin the game :(
