Richardo11
Hei to all. I am about to start my next play after a very long a deep mod haunt/test. In the final steps of it, i am checking carefully everything with TES5Edit. And here it comes. Checking for errors in TES5edit "Northern Cardinal" produces a vast amount of --- QUST \ VMAD - Virtual Machine Adapter \ Data \ Quest VMAD \ Scripts \ Script \ Properties \ Property \ Value \ Object Union \ Object v2 \ FormID -> [0501C16C] < Error: Could not be resolved > --- And some -- NPC_ \ VMAD - Virtual Machine Adapter \ Data \ Scripts \ Script \ Properties \ Property \ Value \ Object Union \ Object v2 \ FormID -> [0501AAA9] < Error: Could not be resolved > -- I really want to try and play this mod, but now i am wondering if it is safe to install it. Has anyone any recommendations or a say about it?
Project579
Tutorial that will tell you what to do with it (normally errors don't have any kind of effect in game or at least fixing them doesn't change anything most of the time) some errors cannot be fixed by you but the mod author might be able to tell you what he wanted to do and maybe you could fix it:
Darkstyler35
Hello,Don't use the mod. If the mod is old, not anymore supported or updated and contains a bunch of these errors, I'd be tempted to not use it.Clean the entries with Tes5edit using Mator's video, anyway they can not be used because they are invalid so...Tes5edit can not edit VMAD, you must use CK in order to correct them, (if it's a NPC error, edit the NPC, and so on). Problem is to find to what these references correspond. I've done this for a mod sometimes ago and it was successful, because I had some elements that were refering to a DLC, once in the CK that helped me to find them. If your reference doesn't exist, you can search for long...With Tes5edit, check if this plugin has masters and if they are in the right order. Adding several masters to a plugin without using the "sort master" function can make Tes5edit not recognize entries, because it is unable to sort references accordingly. 0501AAA9 can become a 0601AAA9... If you move masters order, sort masters, save and close. Then reload and make a check error.Goof luck.
