soot00
They sound like a pretty cool bunch of guys (and gals), but what, other than a bunch of quests, a room and a certain curse do you get from them? Is there more to get from them? Only advantage is getting Were Wolf Form Edited November 30, 2011 by soot00
frapfap
And you get to put some hair on your chest. Really though, theres not mcuh advantage to any of the factions in the game. Less than even in Oblivion. At least in Morrowind you had o join the guilds to get access to most of the trainers,,, Still, if i played TES games for the guilds, i would have quit when i started Oblivion. kinda lol'd in skyrim you have to be part of the companions to train with the 50-75 archery trainer, you have to be part of the mages guild for most of mage trainerstheives guild for lock picking, pick pocketing and 75-100 archerydark broherhood for alchemy and light armor training, (and one handed i think) most 75-100 "master" level trainers are part of a guild and you ahve to be a member to access their training menu Edited November 30, 2011 by frapfap
BGatot
The biggest advantage of joining Companions, especially for low-level, beginner character, is of course a place to sleep (for free!) and to store items. There are quite a lot of chests and containers in Jovarrsk!
modder3434
Becoming a werewolf, getting skyforge equipment, and access to higher level trainers. Those are the benefits, but i joined purely because im a warrior at heart.
