CTD randomly while waiting

Idk what the problem is because it hasn't happened before, I've invested so much time in this character to simply start over where I am. I load into the game disabled mods that may have given me trouble i.e LAL and iNeed. Loaded outside of Whiterun can walk around no problems no crashing etc. I wait no crashing. I fast travel to Riften for a quest to do, and it's dark so I decide to wait and I CTD instantly. Yes I've used TESVEdit, and LOOT to sort any problems there as well.

My Load Order as follows in pictures.

I uninstalled Immersive Beds, and Detection of NPC's and somehow I haven't gotten a CTD yet, and I installed those mods a long time ago when I started. So idk I'll keep this updated with more if something occurs. Strangest part was this only started when I tried uninstalling JK's Skyrim for Dawn of Skyrim.

Now it only CTD's when I enter Whiterun it seems.

Screw it, I'm just gonna start anew I guess. Clean out all mods except for the graphical ones and go from there.

ok it would seem that a mod that affects the interior of whiterun may be your issue. the only ones i see that could possibly do that are jks whiterun and the bannered mare but correct me if im wrong on the mare it has been a while since i have played it and do not remember if its in whiterun

The drunken huntsman i know is in whiterun

Hello,

Here is a list of things that may help stabilizing your game if not already been done. :

/// Cleaning and correcting potential bugs :

/// Load order / mods conflicts :

/// Settings / memory :

/// Save game :

/// Meshes healer :

  • Read here, this is potentially a cause of CTD that you can resolve by following the mod procedure on this page.

/// Useful informations :

/// Credits : these persons deserve kudos, (among others) without them there would be nothing above.

I'd like to say thanks for all your help. I followed the guide best I could and did this

  • Selective loading : untick 50% of your mods, beginning by the end of your load order and test in game. Then depending on if the problem occurs again or not, increase /decrease the remaining loading mods to find the culprit. "

As best as I could follow it. It seems the "Distant Heathfire Detail" and "Skyfalls" mod(s) were to mostly to blame. After disabling them and playing for around 10 minutes notably in the same particular areas I would CTD in, I have had no such issue. Thank you for the guide and all your help, I will gladly update this if another issues arises.
