I've never even heard of this bug... NO ONE HAS HAIR?

Hey all, so I did a fresh install to see if that helps - still no results. Some mod is removing every NPC and my own hair and facial hair.

Any idea how I could figure it out?

I've also already tried disabling every plugin. Still nothing.

Is this a texture issue? Or maybe something to do with the newest Windows 10? NVIDIA drivers??

Presumably you have some "hair" mod installed? Which one?

Do you have "ArchiveInvalidation" enabled? Try "toggling" it off and then on again in your mod manager.

It's always useful to post your "load order" (LO) in "Spoiler" tags. (Use the "Special BBCode" button in the "Reply" menu bar). LOOT can copy your LO into a file suitable for posting here. (It's under the ":" with three dots to the extreme right in it's menu bar.)

No hair mod. ArchiveInvalidation has been toggled off and on.

Load order: mind, I have disabled every plugin and still had hair loss.

While I am not as familiar with all the FNV mods listed as others, I do see a couple of possible problem areas.

You have both "helmet" and "beard" mods. Either can conflict with "hair". Helmets and hair use the same "slot" on the skeleton, and some modders have done the same with beards.

You are not using a "merged patch". That means only the last mod to touch on a record "wins", in it's entirety. All previously loaded mods touching on that same record are ignored, completely. This applies to your several "fixer" mods like YUP, "Better Game Performance", and MMUE as well. The merge patch alone may be all you need to solve your "hair" problem, among others. Please read this.

I made a FNVEdit patch, no dice. Then tried a bashed patch, still no go. Tried them together and nothing.

Found out it was due to NVAC. Weird cause, but it was necessary if I wanted to keep the latest NVIDIA drivers (New Vegas and the newest drivers - 372.54 - do not work together.) All is well.

It is also important to note that the driver released today, 372.70 STILL DOES NOT WORK WITH FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS.
