Thank You.a) nmm creates/edits those lines in the ini for you if im not mistaken. b) when you download a mod with the nexus mod manager option it doesnt activate it,YOU have to do that yourself by looking for it in the mods menu/list then right click on it and click activate. like this example http://prntscr.com/cbxsyy
Solora
Did you make sure that when you edited your falloutcustom.ini, you didn't accidentally add an extra [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal= to it, you edited the original? I had the same issue, but then i realized I had added a duplicate archive section to that ini and it messed it up, after I deleted the extra lines and edited the original, all my mods work now. Hope you can get it fixed :)
mrenfrew
Thank you for your help, i went back and watched all of gophers instructional videos again and have a better idea of what Im doing than I did just a few weeks ago. I appreciate that you took the time to answer. I have a basic understanding now of nmm if i dont have to do anything manually.Im working on that today, hopefully I can figure out how to do that. bill8872
If it has not changed since the last time I rebuilt my .ini files, Steam will not create that as it is no longer required to play the game. You might have to make that file yourself.
