ReaganSmash360
Hey guys, I'm not necessarily a complete n00b with computers, generally speaking I'm okay enough to usually troubleshoot things like this. I just got Fallout 3 GOTY edition on Steam and want to try some of the mods this community has to offer. I've downloaded FMOM and ArchiveInvalidation. My question is: Where do I extract these files too? I've been extracting them to Computer > New Volume > Program Files > Steam > steamapps > common > fallout 3 goty because the exe for the game is there. I also set this to all my destinations on FMOM, is this wrong? Should I just create a folder?
Werne
You must place the mods in steam/steamapps/common/fallout 3 goty/data. And when you place them there check them with FOMM (if they have a plugin) and start the game. And for most thing you will need ArchiveInvalidation, and FOSE is commonly used in mods as well, so get that too (you start fose through FOMM).
