So I'm starting a new modded game. Its actually going pretty well. So far, there's only one bug. When I load up the game, the console text displays on the screen (without me opening the console) and won't go away until I open and then close the console. Then, any time something prints to the console, it does it again. This happens quite often - every time I hit a hotkey modifier with Super Hotkeys or a skill levels up with Realisitic Leveling, etc.

The only mod that seemed likely to me was ConScribe, but uninstalling the plugin didn't make a difference.

Here is my mod list:

  Reveal hidden contents

OBSE (21) Plugins: Blockhead 10.3, MenuQue 16b, Elys Silent Voice 93, OSR 4.1, Pluggy 125c
Thanks for the help!

Does opening the console and using

tdt
solve it (at least temporarily)? The command toggles debug text. If you have turned debug text on, the console will popup again and stay there each time something is printed in it. If you have debug text on, you might or might not also see some other statistics in the upper left and/or right corners of the screen depending on the debug text number (like framerate, script times or such, video memory usage and the like).

That is the only thing I could think of, something like that has never happened to me.

Haha. You are not that much of a one, really. If you were, you would not even have figured out how to turn the debug text on. Good to hear the problem was solved. I also use the tdt command myself a lot. That framerate needs constant checking, I think it is turning into a habit or something for me. :P

When adding mods, you can also check the other stats if you want, in case they are of use. I do not know where you picked up that command, but there is more about it here if you have not yet found the wiki page: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=Debug_Text

And this one of general interest, in case some of them are of use: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=Category:Console_Functions

Happy modding.

Nice! I knew about the various console functions, but I had no clue you could display something different with the debug text! I definitely appreciate your help.
