Hello. I have a an unknonwn error when starting the game. After loading the second logo, the skyrim logo, the cursor appears, the buttons appear, all for 1 second then the game stops. Like it's process is stopped somehow. No message appears, no error, no sound nothin. My laptop a lenovo ideapad intel i5 2.4ghz, 8 gb ram, nvidia gt540M 2gb ram. Win7 x64.

Also, the game works perfectly on my intel core2duo desktop pc installed with the same kit. Does anyone have any ideea about this? thanks.

First guess. If steam is still active on the desktop, it 'may' block the same account from playing on another machine. Just clicking the close steam x does not really close steam. Open the PC task manager (Ctrl -alt -del) And look at the 'processes' list to see if it is still active. Scroll through and look for 'Steam.exe *32' If it is there that means that the steam service might still be showing your desktop as active. - It also may show in your task bar when you 'close' it with the x in the upper left corner - That means the service is still loaded in background - they do this suposedly to speed up loading steam the next time you start it.

If it shows a steam icon in the task bar, left click the icon and click on exit. Then check the Task manager to be sure it is gone.

Now reboot the Laptop to remove any active flags that steam may have set on it - then try again.
