notmyproblem
This might be a really dumb thing to ask, but I couldn't find any place that actually answered my question. I just wanted to know if it is acceptable to decompress mods and then move them to the bash installers folder. The reason why I am asking this is because I always extract them anyways to look at what is inside. Furthermore, I had some trouble one time with wrye bash being unable to extract a file successfully. I know that the files will take more space, but is this even a thing? Or am I doing more harm than good?
Surilindur
When I used Wrye Bash for installing, I always extracted the archives, made sure they were structured correctly, and then moved them to tne installers folder. So I think it does work like that, at least it did when I last used Wrye Bash. I never actually tried the installer things with an archive... Assuming with "installers" you mean the ones that will appear in the installers tab. And maybe things have changed. One way to make sure is to try it, I think.
