Action993
hello I am using the Greek Armor mod and I want to place the armor on the HouseCarls. I have taken the below steps. a. Duplicate/Rename the armor in the mod. Duplicate the ArmorAA in the mod.b. Crate the outfit using the modded armor and attached it to the house Carl.c. Previewed the armor on the character and all the armor showed on the NPC without issue. Once I log into the game the character/NPC is naked. I have no idea how to make the armor attach to the NPC I can create a character with the armor and in the mod I can preview the NPC and he is fine but in the game they are naked. Any help would be appreciated.
thumbincubation
Taking a guess here, but when you duped the Armor Addon, did you rename it and assign the new AA to the new armor? It almost sounds like your new armor is still trying to find the old AA. Also, if you changed outfits mid-game, you may notice some oddities at first. In my experience, little changes until the area resets. If I change Whiterun guards' outfits, for example, I usually have to go out to another area, do a 30 day wait, and come back, for it to reset all the guards. Individually, you can do "resetinventory" in console, but that's a one-at-a-time hassle, and from what you're describing I feel like your housecarls may now be wearing invisible armor. That being said, it's quick and easy to try an inventory reset on them, and see if it helps. Just take anything you don't want them to lose, first. dalsio
I assume by the method you're using that you don't want your mod to be dependent on the Greek Armor mod because otherwise it would make things a lot easier. You wouldn't have to do anything but load up it and your mod and place the armor in the housecarl's inventory. Second, double check to make sure that you also have the meshes and textures for the armors installed. If they aren't in the exact same spot as the original mod then it won't work (unless you change the ArmorAA's to do so). Lastly, it sounds like the mesh is there but the texture is not so double check to see if the ArmorAA uses a TextureSet (a special texture designated by the editor). You'll want to copy any TextureSets from the mod over and link your ArmorAAs to them.
