Issues with 1.2

Hey, did the patch actually fix anything apart from being able to Esc out of inventory?

It looks like it only made it unable to enter the game, or broke very random things ingame, caused mouse issue to people who didn't have it before and haven't fixed it for those who had, also makes parts of keyboard dead for some people...from what I see.

I'm not being an ass, I'm serious, anyone actually ran into something that is better or fixed?

For the mouse sensitivity issue. Did some searches in the skyrim.ini and came up with these parameters:

fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0100

fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0200

Bumped my Yscale up to 0.7000 and seems to work ok now. No idea if it will be affected by fps scaling though.

For those of you who are unable to get the game running with the new 1.2 patch, simply have steam verify the game cache. That worked for me, and hopefully it will work for at least the majority of you. Note that if you use the 4 GB mod, you may have to roll back the version of the mod to 1.3 rather than the newest 1.4 version. I had to do so in order to get the game to run. So in short, verify game cache and run version 1.3 of the 4 GB mod if your using it.

I also discovered a very random problem with the new patch. I went into Breezehome after finally getting the game to run, and discovered that my lowest bookshelf in the living room / kitchen is not working. I cannot select it or pull books / add books. However, the upper shelf does work still. Very strange. Anyone else having this issue? None of my roll back saves have resolved the issue, it persists in all cases. I'm convinced it has to do with the recent patch. Avoid 1.2 if you can.

Ok.. it appears that the patch adjusted how settings work but did not adjust user settings... you need to delete your ini file and have it rebuilt then adjusts things to how you like them manually.

A real PITA when the ini files are tweaked beyond recognition though :/ I've been able to keep mine, just editing the mouse stuff. Hopefully I'll not encounter anything else....

It looks like all home bookshelves that weren't full are out of order now. Or so it would seems from what I heard from quite a few people.

I'd like to also put in that disabling Vals Crafting Meltdown mod worked for me, too. Too bad cuz I really liked that mod.....but I guess it was appropriately titled Meltdown for what it pretty much did to my game after the patch. LOL
