Help! Skyrim not working after patch!

If you're having trouble running Skyrim after today's small Steam patch, please try the following:

 

1. Right click on the game in the Steam library and select Properties

2. Navigate to the "Local Files" tab

3. Click "Verify integrity of game cache"

 

Also note that verifying your game cache will reset your SkyrimPrefs.ini file. If you are manually editing settings in that file, create a backup prior to verifying the cache.

More details please, i.e mods/text replacements etc etc used.

 

Computer Specs

 

I have a tone of mods. Some include FXAA injector and Blood effects, enhanced water, rain ripples, distant terrain and more....mainly graphics mods.

 

My specs:

 

MSI 6950 oc 2 gb

Phenom X6

windows 7 64 bit

500 w power supply

4 gb ram

Try to disable ALL mods, especially any mods doing something with crafting.

Hasn't worked. Permanently stuck on the fog and logo.
