Mod request - Scan for elements from space

Hi, I don't know if it already exists in the game (I doubt it).

I frequently need specific elements to craft stuff. I would like a visor upgrade that let you scan planets from space to see what elements are available there without landing.

 

Or, having some sort of DB that would store elements you discover on planets so you could consult it instead of going landing there.

A DB could also store the planet's climate and % of plants and animals.

 

And also a visor upgrade could let us scan the surface for a specific element not just group of elements like it does currently.
