An_Omen
Hi! I've spent more time than I have available scrolling through the CS Game Settings menu trying to figure out what entry I need to edit to increase the durability of my armour and weapons. I've tried the various mods out there but none of which do enough for me. Preferably if possible I would like to turn it off completely it's that annoying to my game experience! I've played through Oblivion once already and my second time through I would like a more fun experience thus trying to remove those annoying aspects I endured the first time through. Repairing equipment rates possibly the most annoying of all I think! So if anyone knows what all those settings do or can point me to a site with descriptions of their functions (already tried the TESWIKI and not all entries have descriptions) I would be very grateful. Cheers
xenxander
i agree that I haven't yet found a game where durability and degration of weapons / armor was a good idea. TES doesn't need the skill armorer IMHO, which is why I have one repair hammer and use F5 / F9 a lot.. but I agree that sometimes I'd like to shut it off fully. CheersTry iArmorDamage*****Chance. Or iDamageToArmorPercentage and iDamageToWeaponPercentage. I'm not entirely sure how well setting any of these to 0 will work, but it'll give you a place to start.
