salawow
Hello ! (note: i haven't installed patch 1.2, so i'm still in 1.1) I just wanted to know if it is normal. Sometimes, i hear the "dragon sound", look up, and see a dragon who attacks me in the 10 seconds. But sometimes, i hear that sound, but the dragon just stay in the air, roaring, flying in circle for about 2 or 3 minutes, then he fly off. I tried to shoot at it with my bow, but it always miss. I always thought it was normal, i mean, a dragon that show off just to scare me would make much sence.. but i've read that there was a know bug about "dragons not attacking".. that's why i ask. XxTaLoNxX
Honestly I can't say whether it's a bug or not but I do know that when I encounter such a dragon the Dragonrend shout always gets their attention... and no I am not making a joke even though it is a bit funny. Wolves425
I dont know if its a bug, but that have happened many times with me as well. at the very least this roaming dragon prevent you from fast travel in that area for a little while. salawow
I don't have the Dragonrend shout yet, so i can't try it unfortunatly. I'll try with another shout next time though, i tend to forget i can shout lol And about fast traveling, well if i try to travel/wait and it tells me that ennemies are around, it means the dragon will attack me.. but all the time i come across "non-attacking dragons", i can still travel/wait even if they are up there roaring at me. And now that i'm thinking more about it, i'm not sure, but it seems that dragons only attack when there is something else to attack nearby (a wolf, a bandit, a mamooth...), and they ALWAYS kill every hostiles in the surrounding before comming to me.. so being an archer, i often finish off dragons with arrows while they are buzy fighting something else.
