headsss
Okay, well, it really annoys me how you're walking around, say, maybe The Counts' Arms, or something like that. You see everyone drink out of a cup, eat food, etc. When you go to eat food or drink some good wine, you can't see it happen. I'm not sure if this has been made, or is possible to be made, but I think it would be great, seeing as I love to see what my character does. O: No flame, please. Merci ^^

Merci ^^Nope, can't be done, atleast not without issues. The problem is that these things are used from within a menu, and even if you scripted each and every consumable item to play an idle, there is no way to force the player out of menumode to show the animation. When you consume something, it's instantanious, and that is something hard coded for ingrediants. This would also create issues where consuming more than one item at a time may break the animations. Additionally, not all food items (actually only two) have an idle object which looks anything like the item. This would naturally be the next thing to bother people, so it really isn't in anyone's best interest to even try something like this. Besides, such a system would probably slow down consuming items or screw up the alchemy, so we're better off without it. You can always use Actors in charge or something else to make the idles play if it bugs you that much. And no, there is no scripting to detect if the player has just recently used a consumable item, the closest you could get would be scripting every consumable item to set a flag somewhere to cause an animation when they leave menu mode. Additionally, scripting consumable items might also interfere with NPCs being able to use them.
