Drow Armor?

Wondering if anyone has ever had the idea or desire to create Drizzt's (from R.A. Salvatore novels...for those who don't know who he is...which I would imagine is rather unlikely on a site like this...but i digress) armor as depicted by Todd Lockwood, the artist who has done the majority of the artwork for many of Salvatore's recent books. I would like to give it an attempt, although I only recently got back into Oblivion, have not played it in a couple years...if anyone has any suggestions on how to go about doing something like this (the tools needed and the basics of their workings etc) I would appreciate your input.
