Grijns
I just recently downloaded Francesco's Leveled Creatures & Items MOD. It seemed like a good idea for more immersion and realistic gameplay. The problem is, even though I'm utterly careful and by all means try to prevent MODS from conflicting, it DOES conflict. With one of my favorite additions to the already beautiful universe of Oblivion. The MODS that are conflicting with one another are; Francesco's Leveled Creatures & Items MOD (In particulair the NPC customizations) and Younger & Hotter NPC Women (NPC Costimization) Now normally I would change the load order, BUT since Francesco's Leveled Creatures & Items MOD is an .esm and NOT an .esp. This is NOT so easally done (even WITH OBMM). And even if I would change the load order, I would lose either the NPC customizations (leveled) from Francesco's Leveled Creatures & Items MOD, OR the NPC customizations (facial features) from Younger & Hotter NPC Women, which, to be frank, are BOTH necessary for an enjoyable gaming experience in my opinion. Is there ANY solution for this VERY uncomfortable position I'm in? Help would be appreciated.
malonn
I may be wrong, but I don't think Younger Hotter NPC's has any effect on level lists. It merely changes facial sliders and age sliders for some of the women. It doesn't add or replace textures, just changes the Bethesda faces for some women through the facial adjustment system in the CS. Francesco's core mod just changes the level lists. It doesn't touch facial design. So the mods shouldn't conflict at all. I'm not sure about that "NPC Customization" part of Fran's you mention. But if you want YHNPC'sW to have effect, load it after any Fran additional .esp's

Loading the younger NPCs mod after all the parts of Frans should be able to make it so that all the internal stuff with the NPC (scripts, inventory, spell lists, stats) are unaffected, but their appearance (face, hair, age) are taken from the younger NPC mod. If not, you may have to make the appropate adjustments to Frans mod.

That's EXACTLY what I thought, until I saw the monstrous 87 year old bandit women appearing throughout the once so beautiful landscape. If not, you may have to make the appropate adjustments to Frans mod. Adjustments. The MOMENT I read that I started to feel a shiver down my spine. In adjustments you suggest changing all the facial and age sliders in the Francesco's Leveled Creatures & Items MOD.esm by hand? I do NOT think that is a possibility, I simply do not have that much time on my hands. Can you even edit an .esm file? I thank you for your help, but is there any other simpler solution? I already made a clean install with a clean saved game, WITH the mods in proper order but it did not seemed to work. I'm all out of ideas. ..Anyone? SickleYield
I think the new version of Tes4Gecko may be able to convert .esm to an editable .esp, but I might be confused on that point - I haven't tried. If it can, you can try merging the two files using that program and just make sure that YoungerHotterEtc is first in merge priority.

That would be an exelent idea if my problem did not magically and mysteriously solved itself. My only conclusion can be the removal of Eshme's Bodies. Since I removed the textures and meshes from that very pack, Younger & Hotter NPC Women started to work. I downloaded and installed Exnem's Bodies instead which did not seem to have any conflicts with Younger & Hotter NPC Women. SO.. I'm satisfied. I want to thank you guys for the input and effort. I appreciate it.
