most fitting legendary effect for "Problem Solver"?

hello folks

 

recently, the new Nuka World DLC was released, and with it came some new interesting weapons, and other not so much insteresting

i'm currently working on a little mod that hopes to fix some of these weapons, but i wanted to discuss the new unique variants for the new Handmade Rifle

 

there are 2 unique variants of this rifle, being the "Splattercannon" and the "Problem Solver"

however, both have the exact same legendary effect of +15% damage for consecutive hits on the same target

this effect actually fits a weapon named "Splattercannon", so i've decided to try and fix the second one

 

so here the question goes

what, in your opinion, is the most fitting legendary effect for a rifle named "Problem Solver"?

 

i'll take all suggestions into consideration, choose what i makes most sense, and modify that weapon as part of the mod

But now seriously, the existing effect is very powerful anyway on an automatic weapon with an already high base damage. I suppose you could give it something like explosive bullets, like the Spray And Pray, and it would be fitting for the name Splattercannon. But... it would probably add less damage than what it already has.

i was actually thinking about changing the "Splattercannon" to explosive, and leave the other as it is

which does sound good

 

the issue here is having two "unique" weapons that are identical, by anything other then name

 

Edit:

after looking around, i've found some funny quotes about solving problems through explosive force

so i'm thinking about keeping the "Splattercannon" as is, while changing the "Problem Solver" to explosive

that will make it a viable weapon, and still have the name making sense

Actually here's an idea: the Grognak's Axe effect. It's not as much overpowering the damage, but it staggers on every hit, and the bleed effect helps a bit too. Should go very well with an automatic receiver, I should think. And it'll be a truly unique "problem solver", since no other gun in the game, no matter from what legendary boss, is ever going to have that effect.

 

Basically, while the Kremvh's Tooth enchant was largely a joke, because it's insanely overpowered, you CAN put melee weapon effects on guns and they work just fine.

Well, yeah, it stacks up pretty nicely.

 

I quite like stagger too, though, if it happens often. The normal one is toned down to happen very rarely on automatic weapons, but put one that happens often on a SMG and it's pretty much a defense enchant. They can't shoot at you when they're shaking like a break dancer with his fingers in a live socket.

 

It's why I put both on the silver receivers instead of just upping the damage, really.

I did find some random weapon that had that effect. It didn't do much damage and I didn't upgrade it but it would hold melee attackers at bay. I ran out of ammo for it and forgot about it. Interesting enough to build a dual legendary weapon around the concept. Did you make a silver machine gun mod? Also did you try Tales from the commonwealth? Some more silver shroud content in that mod.

damage boost and when enemies die there's a chance of any of the crit effects (burn, plasma, laser etc) of happening, including all limbs and heads popping off :laugh:

"no person, no problem"
helps with ghouls, helps with everything, gets you stuff (radioactive material)
