WastelandAssassin Posted September 4, 2016 Share Posted September 4, 2016 hello folks recently, the new Nuka World DLC was released, and with it came some new interesting weapons, and other not so much insterestingi'm currently working on a little mod that hopes to fix some of these weapons, but i wanted to discuss the new unique variants for the new Handmade Rifle there are 2 unique variants of this rifle, being the "Splattercannon" and the "Problem Solver"however, both have the exact same legendary effect of +15% damage for consecutive hits on the same targetthis effect actually fits a weapon named "Splattercannon", so i've decided to try and fix the second one so here the question goeswhat, in your opinion, is the most fitting legendary effect for a rifle named "Problem Solver"? i'll take all suggestions into consideration, choose what i makes most sense, and modify that weapon as part of the mod thanks in advanceWA Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I suppose you could give it something like explosive bullets, like the Spray And Pray, and it would be fitting for the name Splattercannon. It's not as much overpowering the damage, but it staggers on every hit, and the bleed effect helps a bit too. Should go very well with an automatic receiver, I should think. And it'll be a truly unique "problem solver", since no other gun in the game, no matter from what legendary boss, is ever going to have that effect. Basically, while the Kremvh's Tooth enchant was largely a joke, because it's insanely overpowered, you CAN put melee weapon effects on guns and they work just fine. Moraelin Posted September 5, 2016 Share Posted September 5, 2016 Well, yeah, it stacks up pretty nicely. I quite like stagger too, though, if it happens often. The normal one is toned down to happen very rarely on automatic weapons, but put one that happens often on a SMG and it's pretty much a defense enchant. They can't shoot at you when they're shaking like a break dancer with his fingers in a live socket. It's why I put both on the silver receivers instead of just upping the damage, really. It didn't do much damage and I didn't upgrade it but it would hold melee attackers at bay. I ran out of ammo for it and forgot about it. Interesting enough to build a dual legendary weapon around the concept. Did you make a silver machine gun mod? Also did you try Tales from the commonwealth?
