LE Idea (Request) for a New Armor Set

With the exception of the Blades Armor, I pretty much hate all of the armor available in Skyrim. They seem either very impractical or so over the top fantastical that it seems out of place in the culture of Skyrim.

 

Since I have no skills at modeling (really, I have no artistic skills at all), I thought I would put this idea out there in hopes that someone with the required skills felt the same as me.

 

My idea is for a type of armor modeled on the Varangian Guard:
