Vagrant0
Yes... But this is an English speaking community. People from all over the world who use this site have agreed to use English for communication, mod descriptions, and comments. The moderating staff may know other languages, but requests that all test be in English so that there is mutual understanding. Non-English descriptions and mods are fine as long as they are accompanied by some attempt at an English translation of the description, but file comments and forum posts MUST ALWAYS be in English so that staff doesn't have to rely on bad machine translations when a dispute occurs. There is no reason for the forum to support non-English fonts, and comments posted in other languages should be reported so that they can be removed. This may seem like heavy-handed policies, but the reality is that we just cannot support every language out there, cannot rely on machine translations to pick up on nuances, slang, or other subtleties related to when someone might insult or make rude comments, so must use a singular, common language for most communication on this site. We are aware that not everyone has perfect English skills, but don't honestly expect that. As long as some attempt is made it is appreciated and is usually helped along to reach a mutual understanding.
UksusoFF
Maybe can make mod's author moderate their threads?
Vagrant0
Maybe can make mod's author moderate their threads?Premium Members and Supporters can, to a point, but the issue at hand is larger than that. If people can use whatever language they wish, outside of what the site staff can understand there is no way to track for illegal discussions, porn rings, privacy issues, personal fights which go unreported, disputes over files and rights to those files, and countless other things. It is simply impractical. A standard language is just the best way to go about making sure the site remains open for all and that all persons have access to the same content. When you have things separated by different languages you end up blocking information from everyone else who does not know that language and the development of certain niche sub-communities who rarely communicate to eachother. If you MUST use your native language and have such a problem with agreeing with the rules of this community, there are certainly other sites out there for you to use, many of them in your language.
