peregrine111
As I got fed by TES magicka system, I thought about how fun would it be if spell continued to drain your life energy if you are out of mana.. Right now you can cast until you have not enough magicka. I suggest that spells could usemagicka->stamina->healt so if you don't have enough magicka to cast a spell, it would be cast anyway, but it's cost drained from stamina. If you don't have enough stamina, your health is used as a resource. And finally - if you don't have even enough health to cast a spell, you will die. So stamina would work as a bumper between casting a spell normally and hurting yourself with it. This could be possible with few hours of scripting. To make things even more elegant however, you would need to use up even resources you've regenerated. (so spell would essentially consume 2 different resources, which would NOT be easy to do I guess) Imagine you have 100 mana, 100 stamina, 100 HPYou cast a fireball which costs, let's say 70 mana.you cast 1st - only mana is usedcast 2nd - 30 mana and 40 stamina are usedcast 3rd - 60 stamina and 10 HP are usedcast 4rd - 70 HP are usedif you attempt to cast 5th fireball (you have 20 HP), then as your hand starts glowing, you fall down on the floor, dead. Matth85
Could be used, but I'd want a failsafe. In the middle of a 20 minute drawoff with a dragon priest, I don't accidently want to cast a spell as he hits me, and I died. Perhaps deny you to cast if it would kill you? I don't know, something. I'd kill myself far too many times >.<
