Since I am a terrible carebear and don't like being mean to any companions, would it be possible to make it so that Porter Gage does no become hostile to the SS during the quest Open Season, where you kill all the raiders. Perhaps if his approval rating is maxed, or he is romanced? Technically, if you follow his backstory, he ditches all his previous gangs before they are about to go get themselves killed. that could technically be considered a lore-friendly reason for him not turning hostile if you decide to kill the gangs. What I did was target Gage and used the removefromallfactions command and re-placed him back into the Player faction with the integer of 1. He continued to follow me as I killed the remaining gang leaders and even fought with me.I say semi-working because he will no longer talk to me if I use the "talk" option in the dialogue wheel. This also means you can't manually dismiss him or buy things from him when you're in Nuka-World. I seem to have trouble finding the faction that I need to add him (or myself) to to regain that functionality. so far I've tried DLC04VendorCOMGageFaction [FACT:0604B4D2], DLC04_CompanionCrimeFaction_Gage [FACT:06056AC4], and DLC04RESceneCT05Faction [FACT:06011FCB].Maybe someone more adept at this sort of thing can fix that.
