DeuceHD
Hi all, I Installed Skyrim and it changed some things to pc to make it work, when I tried to play Fallout 4 it wouldn’t launch. I uninstalled both games, then only installed Fallout 4 and played around with the resolutions settings, still will not launch. AGreatWeight
'and it changed some things to pc to make it work'Can you be a little more specific and less vague please, it's the only way we can help you identify your problem. Exactly what happened, and what were these changes you say it made?
SharraShimada
Skyrim is much older then FO4. While its technical the same engine, FO4 uses a newer version with much more features. What have so changed to run skyrim, and why?

AGreatWeight
I don't think altering the resolution setting would stop your game from working in and of itself. Likewise, I don't recall Skyrim altering the resolution from anything other than your monitors native resolution. Something else must have happened. Are you using mods for your game, and are you using a mod manager? -NMM, Mod Organizer etc-Do you get the Fallout4 splash screen -where you are given various options including to play the game, and it shows a close-up of Power Armor on the left- or does it not even get this far?I'd recomment verifying your game cache via Steam as a starting point. Alternatively, if that doesn't help, you should uninstall FO4 and make sure that you also delete all your .ini files as well. If it is a problem with your settings, then this will help you start over again. You can find it in Documents/My Games/Fallout4 - delete all the .ini files. Yes I get the splash screen and further, I get to the screen where the is just about to lanuch and it "crashes" return to Steam menu. How do I verify to game cache?. AGreatWeight
In Steam, go to your game library, right click on Fallout4, select properties. A window will appear, click the local files tab, select verify integrity of game cache and wait a few minutes whilst Steam does it's thing. DeuceHD
The right click doesn't work on any game in my library
AGreatWeight
When your in your library, select the detail view -it's on the far right- this will display your games in alphabetical order on the left of the screen. That's where you right click; I'd send you a screengrab but unfortunately my PrtSc key isn't working thanks to a mischievous cat of mine.Found a workaround, follow the instructions below.http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1280x1024q90/921/oqPj5O.png
