syrik77
I've been looking through the mods (gosh there are getting to be a lot) and can't find what I'm looking for. Either I'm not able to find it and maybe someone can point me in the right direction, or it hasn't been made. What I would like is a crafting mod that works for all crafting (cooking, smithing, smelting, alchemy) and allows me to select things in quantity (ex. 5 iron ores turned into 5 bars) and do them all at once. Default you have to select the items every time and if you're making 50 daggers.....it's cumbersome. This could be as simple as adding a slider (like when you're selling to a merchant). Perhaps a weight reduction for all crafting ingredients would go along well with this. I don't care about unlocking things or opening every recipe in the game, just want to make the actions a little easier. As for the Hardware Mouse, most games (well good ones) will allow a setting to set the mouse not to be controlled by the software which greatly reduces input lag. Even with the .ini tweaks and fixes the mouse is still a little slow. Actually it seems like all input for the game is slow, even keybinds. Is anyone aware of an .ini command to turn Hardware mouse on? or is it just not supported?

Adviser69
I see where you are going with this, I'm just not sure how far along the tools are to support it. That, and quite a few modders are putting a majority of the crafting equipment almost right next to each other, making an amalgamated system all but unnecessary. A good example is the Dovahkiin Hideout by Shawkab. In this mod the tanner, smelter, grindstone, equipment bench, and forge are all right next to each other, all with storage right there. An enchanter and alchemy lab are in a room that is less than a dozen steps from the forge room, and these have storage added to the side of them. The only crafting equipment that is in a different room is the cooking spit, and to be honest I haven't come across a player who would cook just to cook. Although to be honest, your idea would be great if it was combined with a merchant caravan type mod or as an awesome addition to the current portable tent/campsite mods. These combined with an all in one crafting system would make having a permanent residence unneeded.
TolarisOmega
My understanding from the requester is a streamlining of the crafting itself, not the location of the crafting units.I'm not a programmer, but I can't see there being much of a problem. Its something that Bethesda should have done from the beginning, along with better consistency between the different crafting UIs
