huntsman2310
I've decided I'm going to start my modding career with Skyrim, and for my first mod I will be doing a simple retexture of the Ebony Armour as a non-replacer. But I have a few questions. - How do modders retexture the detailed parts of a vanilla texture so well? I'm using the gold Ebony armour as an example, the runes and lines of words on the armour have been retextured to a bright gold colour. How did they do this? are the detailed parts of texture in a seperate layer then the other pieces of the armour?

There are impressive things that you can do with masks, "Replace Color", etc. in Photoshop. That's all basically.
