Dragon1291
I have been searching for a mod that doesn't hide characters face or hair but unable to find any decent working one. Anyone have any suggestions or requests for such mod?. So far i am using newsboy cap, faded visor which doesn't cover whole face/hair and also gives decent protection with ballistic weave. damanding
Check out Armorsmith. It allows you to add considerable protection to head gear beyond the vanilla options, comes with quite a few great head related items, and is also a good resource for discovering additional armor mods that use the AWKCR/Armorsmith setup. I'm a fan of the military berets myself, you can see quite a bit of your hair while wearing them. But also, if you're using Armorsmith to increase your armor options beyond vanilla you'll probably find that you don't actually need headgear for the armor rating. I've got a number of outfits that are Armorsmith compatible that give me armor ratings close to power armor levels. I have one mod created outfit that if you wear all the pieces with maxed out mods attached has a combined armor rating well over 800. At that point you don't need anything on your head for armor rating. That outfit is pretty seriously overpowered.

I am using bunny girl outfit, and the new cross tactical swimsuit outfit with ballistic weave which gives me nice protection with ballistic weave but i am not wearing chest piece as it blocks the view of outfit. and also i am using fortzella armor pieces for hands and legs but how to get the 800 armor rating? is it a modded armor with high defence rating?. Can you tell me how to get high armor rating after applying ballistic weave? how to increase more?.
vixsyn
If you're wanting good protection you could try out Custom Combat and Synth Armor by Endormoon. You can turn the helmet into a "wig", allowing you to have a hairstyle shown instead of the helmet. It has a compatability patch for Azar's Ponytail Hairstyles as well if you want more hair options. Fortzella's armor is only upgradable to a certain point by default, I believe. It would be quite an easy process to alter it in FO4Edit. This is a guide to making patches using Skyrim and TES5Edit as examples but the general idea is the same. If you'd rather have some cool looking armor that's natrually high in defensive properties you could look at the Courser X-92 Power Suit by nsk13 or HN66's SIRIUS Assault Suit. EmissaryOfWind
May I suggest the CROSS Institute Tech Mask? It's elegant and highly customizable.
damanding
I also use this mod for invisible armor: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5245/?. I contacted the author and he came back to update support for DLC's prior to Nuka World. This makes all leather, metal, combat, synth Auto. and FH armors invisible on all NPC's as well though so if you care about that you can check out one of the several buggy options for crafting your own invisible armor. I prefer this one because I can see myself and my companions in our nice clothing without the armor messing up the look. As for the seriously overpowered outfit I was talking about, it's the Steampunk outfit by Ashara: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17329/? Dragon1291
Cool thanks a lot for the suggestions :) love the invisible armor mod thank you :D and yea i want to keep armor defense value as vanilla as possible don't want to be overpowered in game it ruins the fun. And about the cross tech mask i don't think you can apply ballistic weave to it so it only gives 15 radiation protection that's all wish ballistic weave was there :(
damanding
It doesn't look like anyone has done an AWKCR patch for the Cross tech mask but you could always make your own for any armor you like. There's a forum article on the AWKCR page that gives instructions for it. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6091/?tab=5&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D6091%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D3744435&pUp=1 That would let you add ballistic weave to anything, as well as other mods appropriate to that piece of armor. Dragon1291
Is there a way to hide beret hats also?
damanding
Is there a way to hide beret hats also?If you're comfortable with texturing you could make any headgear invisible. But to my knowledge no one has done that for berets. However I believe the Invisible Armor mod I linked previously does cover combat, synth, and marine helmets.
