dwilliss
I've got an odd situation here. I'm sure somebody has probably already solved this, but I can't find anything quite like this case. My most recent saves will crash if I start Skyrim and just load them directly. But if I go back a few weeks and load a previous save point, I can then pull up the system menu and load the most recent game and everything works. But then if I save that, exit Skyrim and restart, that save won't load either. I've tried a Save cleaner (v 2.06 beta-52363-2-06), but that didn't help. BlackRoseOfThorns
The first time game loads necessary assets in order to access your save, it fills more of the available memory than normal. Skyrim is 32bit application with hard cap on ram and memory heap. When you reach the limit game will crash. You can alleviate this a bit by using Enb/Enboost tweak and SKSE with Crash Fixes.
