Project579
What BlackRoseOfThorns is saying is that you have overwritten some files from one of your Parallax Textures for ENB with a non ENB Parallax Texture and because the ENB parallax texture use 3 different files and not 2 like the vanilla parallax texture you have a texture that finishes with _p that is being placed as 3rd level of Parallax over texture that only need 2 levels. More like TerrainPrallax texture set got overwitten with either few non parallax or mesh parallax set files and vice versa.
nathanielpillar
Right, well since I have a complete mess of texture mods, I'll just remove the whole damn lot, and just use vivid landscapes. That seems pretty comprehensive.

That seems pretty comprehensive. Yeah, it's a good idea, however!!! >> >> Vivid Landscape series doesn't cover all landscape textures. Use Skyrim HD Parallax Terrain Tribute rework by the same author (Hein84) first and then overwrite it Vivid Landscapes. This will work with FixParallaxTerrain=true. nathanielpillar
Alright, so i installed Skyrim HD parallax terrain tribute, then I installed vivid landscapes, and the parallax seems to be working fine now. However, there are still a few textures which remain vanilla, such as the small damaged walls near whiterun, and the interior of dragonsreach. in order to replace these few particular textures, could I just browse the folder and manually replace it with something better? Or could I install another texture pack, and just merge it to fill in the gaps?
Project579
Vivid Landscapes AIO does not include all of the textures from the vivid series some of them might be missing. These are all the textures from the Vivid series: Edited September 9, 2016 by Project579

Or could I install another texture pack, and just merge it to fill in the gaps? That's because those are landscape packs and not town, architecture or clutter packs. I was under an impression you already had those. In this case go with this installation order: SMIMNobleSkyrimMod HDProject Parallax Revived for NobleSkyrimMod HDTree replacer (SFO no grass.esp / Enhanced Vanilla Trees / David Trees -pick one)Verdant Grass PluginSkyrim HD TributeVivid Landscapes AIOaMidianBorn Book of SilenceRustic Clothes by GamwichRugnarok by GamwichHalkHogan HD mods Optional:fence Skyrim complete 3D by Renthal311Skyrim Landscape Overhaul - Stone Walls by Xenophobe3 + New texture for Skyrim Landscape Overhaul Stone Walls by PandoraTremere(get the optional file for Whiterun rubble stonewalls)
nathanielpillar
I installed the mods in that order, and it's looking pretty nice! But I have noticed that the ground in the far distance is an ugly brown instead of the green i had before. I think this is because most of the ground is now dirt, rather than grass. Project579
You need to change the LOD to fix that consider using DynDOLOD it will give you far better looking LOD. Edited September 11, 2016 by Project579
