When I purchased the Enchanting Table and Alchemy lab for Hierim House in Windhelm they did not show up. All the other furnishings I purchased ( kitchen, bedroom, living room and the armory) did. Wasted some hard earned coins on those two enhancements for the house only to find out they were not installed. Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue but it is a possible bug. Or do they just end up beeing there the next time you visit? Never payed attention to it. >.> I personally didn't have that bug there, but I had a lot of troubles actually getting the dialogue option to pop up, others didn't even had the option to start the Butcher quest, it's a mess in Windhelm I tell ya. Let's just hope the improved patch fix will solve all of your troubles. :confused: Or maybe there's some kind of console command, I don't know, I'm bad with that stuff. ._. What threw me off was the empty room upstairs which has nothing in it. Then I remembered (Spoiler) the false cabinet downstairs. That's where they were. khbazur Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 Did you do a load after you bought it then bought it again? that sometimes bugs Hjerim. If you are doing a load always load from the main menu ( as in exit to main menu then load the save from there) don't load from the pause menu, the pause menu load does not reinitialize the active cells. Meaning for example if you save then buy from a vendor and bring his gold down to 10 from 1000 and load the save game, his gold will still be at 10. Loading from the main menu seems to clear up this problem. The items you bought should appear the next time you enter the house. Did you finish the Blood on the Ice quest? If you haven't the secret room will still be a bloody altar and the enchanting and alchemy tables won't appear. Were you able to buy the clear the blood from the house service? did it clear the house of blood? if no then the quest is not done yet. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
