Vampire improvements mod

Here are some suggestions for a Vampire mod to make being a vampire a little more fun. I'd certainly like to see the first four done, but I won't hold my breath for the rest since they'd be a lot more difficult.

1. Let me Feed on people who are perfectly awake, like oblivious bandits in dark caverns, or random people in the street if I'm in the mood for a rampage. You would crouch, approach, and "Feed" would be a third option in addition to speaking with or pickpocketing. The NPC cannot run until you finish your feed, then they begin attacking or running. They can rattle off their surprised shouts while being fed on however.

2. Allow Vampire Seduction to let the player feed on the target once they've been calmed. The target won't attack until the duration of Vampire Seduction is over, even after being Fed on. Even multiple times.

3. Vampiric Drain should get stronger based on the player's Destruction skill, or unlock more powerful versions as the player gets stronger. It's a painfully weak Novice skill as is.

4. All NPCs should ignore a player in the Blood Starved stage UNTIL said player hits the "Detected" status (sneaking or not). As it stands, a noisy but concealed player is ignored by everyone, but a noisy yet concealed Blood Starved vampire is sought out by the guard for making the quietest of noises.

Optional, significantly more difficult to do:

5. Vampire Coven - Encounter a certain quest vampire in the wilds and impress them into your service. This quest wouldn't become available until you become a vampire. You choose a cave, fort, small settlement, or other area after you clear out and make it your own vampire home. You can buy improvements from the quest vampire NPC (traps, locks, blacksmith type improvements, alchemical station, enchanting station, decorations, prison/torture room for feeding and fun). Locations available would be chosen by the quest NPC ahead of time. Being able to choose ANY location would be a decorating nightmare for any poor programmer.

6. Enthrall Bite (Power) and Infectious Bite (Power) (each only usable once a day): both would be usable on a companion. Enthrall would allow you to leave them at the base, where they guard it and allow you to Feed on them whenever you like. Infectious Bite causes a companion to become a vampire three days later. You can ask them to stay at the base, tell them when to feed (they could feed when you do if they are following you, since asking the AI to choose good times to do so would be disastrous).

7. More on Enthrall Bite (Power) - Also usable on NPCs, except, the NPCs continue to go about their business as normal. Except they now consider you an ally, so Entralling the entire city guard to allow you to loot the town's riches could be a useful idea.

8. More on Infectious Bite (Power) - Usable on NPCs, but there's a catch. If you Bite them undetected, they seek out a cure disease option (potion or blessing) within a day. If you Entrall, then Infections Bite, you could cause a non-quest NPC to become a vampire by ordering them to not seek a cure. Except, well, everyone becomes hostile to them once their three days are up and they are detected. Could be a fun way to kill off people though ^_~

Most difficult:

9. Vampire perks and a Vampire stat - A handful of perks to make the life of a vampire a little easier and a stat to improve the buffs a player gets from being a vampire. The Vampire stat would level up when the player Feeds, Bites, and uses vampire Powers. Which means those actions would give a lot of exp. A few examples of perks: 1)Increasing the time it takes to become visibly Blood-starved, while gaining the full stat benefits sooner without that painful penalty. 2) Enthrall Bite and Infectious Bite could be perks instead of freebee skills. 3)Additional stat bonuses, like one-handed and two handed damage or spell damage to make Vampirism a little more worthwhile. 4) The final perk, Master Vampire, would allow unlimited use of Feeds, Bites, and Powers per day.

10. NPCs would have a "feed" limit, say 5 per night, so players can't grind their way to max Vampire in one night. NPC would die on the fifth feed. Game would warn the player on the attempt of the 5th feed, and require confirmation to prevent overfeeding. Fun way to kill Seduced bandits or for stealthy Dark Brotherhood kills ^_~

11. Vampire questline - A few examples of what could occur 1) See Vampire Coven idea above. Base and "guild master" status is achieved early on in the quest line to shake things up. 2) Vampire quest NPC suggests targets to Enthrall or Infect, these special NPCs end up leaving their normal lives and joining the Coven. Each NPC recruited this way would have an additional quest involving their past life. Improvements bought at same NPC. 3) Side quests to kill vampire hunters to help keep the Coven location secret. 4)Main story involves rival vampires getting annoyed about the player stepping in on their turf and feeding grounds. 5) Main story also involves thwarting a skilled vampire hunter. 6) Rival vampires attempt subterfuge; they reawaken an extremely powerful vampire to give them an edge against you, while trying to blow your cover so the vampire hunter goes after you. Their plan backfires; said powerful vampire Enthralls their entire coven, and blows their cover. 7) Epic showdown between player's Coven, enemy coven + powerful vampire leader, and the vampire hunter and his band of followers. 8 ) Slaying the powerful vampire significantly level ups the player's Vampire stat, and provides some nice gear from his dead body. Also, a handful of NPCs of the enemy coven and the vampire hunters survive the showdown, including the famed vampire hunter. What should be done with them is up to the player. Each can be killed, or Enthralled, or Infected (player is imbued with the power to give multiple bites for this event, he absorbs the essence of the powerful vampire upon his death), or just dragged to the dungeon for Feeding, or so the player can decide their fates later.

And the most important request:

12. Obligatory Dracula references/quotes. Add some light-hearted Twilight jokes, but nothing too obvious or over done.

another thing that would be nice is storable blood to take with you as a vampire. skyrim is not as full of sleeping hobos and people like oblivian was, so its harder to get a bloody fix. i think it would be nice to bottle blood from fresh dead people you kill, like a health potion.. only its just blood, and you have to "harvest" it

Why no hypnotic gaze? Can't vampire usually put someone into a trance? In certain situations you could make an NPC defend/attack for you, in conversation you could use it to boost your speech craft and/or show other speech options, should only be usable once a day though.

Yeah, was just thinking about how Vampires seem really weak in this game compared to werewolves. The resists seems bugged (Not sure if it's because I have that 1.2 patch or not) because I got like insta killed at 100% frost resist from a frost dragon blasting me with ice, so the only benefit seems to be the 25% sneak for my thief character. All the magic stuff is pretty useless atm as well.

I'd love it if you could feed on an awake npc like you mentioned to quench yourself (A trance spell?), gets tiring to have to fast travel to town and wait till night to feed all the time. It could even maybe be a one hit kill or calm/daze them afterwards so they don't attack you. Used to be a mod like that for Oblivion that I loved. Also, where are all the perks/bonuses for being out at night? Werewolves have a power to turn them into crazy stamina rich duel wielding claw stun freaks, I'd like the equivalent of that for a vampire fighting at night in some way. Stamina/Hp buff, maybe slightly quicker attacks? Not sure how much is do-able atm.

Agreed on bottles of blood, why would they take out all the hobos and bottles of blood? Makes it hell for vampires to keep under rank 4 unless they make stops constantly. Sometimes I'll be at rank 1 and need to fast travel around to different cities, end up at 4 in like 30 seconds.
