Magister
Hello, I would love it if someone could make a mod that removed all the following items (+ whatever else I might have forgotten - feel free to add to the list) that I consider to be trash in the game. - Empty bottles- Embalming Tools- Buckets, Brooms, Shovels, etc- Spoons, Plates, Cups, etc- Burnt Books- Random skeleton bones There is loads more I am sure - I just don't understand why they feel the need to clutter every game they make up with all this random trash. This game isn't nearly as bad as the fallout games - but it's still pretty terrible. Basically, the only things that should be left are items needed for crafting, containers, loose lootables (potions, etc), weapons, armor - that's about it really. I would even go so far to add books into the list - gets terribly tedious finding the same book 53 times in the course of a single run - if there could be another mod created to work in conjunction with the trash mod that somehow kept track of which books you owned and then removed all copies of said book once you owned it - that would be simply brilliant! Cheers. Edited December 2, 2011 by Magister

rebalious
Moderators don't like excessive bumping but I do know there's already a mod that lets you recycle stuff like buckets and spoonsWhile it doesn't remove them it gives them an actual purpose and stops them being trash. ----Melting Down useless "MISC" Items------Lanterns----Goblets----Platters----Plates----Trogs----Hammers----Tongs----Spoons----Candle Sticks----And more (Yes, I added so many I forgot the rest)-- ----Tear up MISC Items and Wooden Bows into Crafting Materials------Wooden Plates----Buckets----Burned Books----Ruined Books----Wooden Bowls----Other Wooden Objects----Imperial Bows----Hunting Bows----Troll Skulls to Bone-Meal----Skulls to Bone-Meal----Mammoth Tusks to Bone-Meal & Powder----Tusks to Bone-Meal----Tankards----Kettles----Cast Iron Pans----Lanterns-- ----Smelt Down Gold/Silver Rings & Amulets---- ----Smelt Down Stolen Jewelry to safely make off with the gems---- ----And Soon to Be much more------Scrolls----Skill Books----Weapons----Mounts----Armors----and More items-- Edited December 8, 2011 by rebalious
Magister
I would hardly call a bump every 5-6 days "Excessive" bumping. As for the recycle mod - no thanks - I don't want the clutter period, not yet another reason to be lugging around pots and pans and what not for melting down. Finally, thanks for the bump =)

Finally, thanks for the bump =) Yo dude, go bump your ass of on WoW forums. :P Oh you're welcome for the bump by the way. *this is supposed to be silly not to an offense* On more serious note. Why are these things bothering you? Imho it is quite nice those rooms are not empty. You got the feeling they served some kind of purpose once. Times where everything was a box and texture only are gone. Also when you use Fus Ro Dah these things fly nicely along. :)However if you really like world without trash (i wonder how you live in the real world full of so much rubbish) wait for the CK, open it and just find and delete all the trash in the hierarchy and save your mod. It should be pretty easy. Now only thing you can do is to call Homer the Garbageman (he does it with a smile). They are junk items, simple as that.

Theoretically even now, but then you would need to fiddle with BSA archives and it could cause the game to crash. Bothersome when running through a room? Are you still talking about those embalming tools, burned books etc? They are usually on shelves and not really blocking the way. Ok maybe on some locations, which drunks used to ocupy, are filled with empty wine bottles...Or maybe you wan to remove even those Urns or fallen bricks, planks etc.? You sure you don't want to play old Wolfenstein instead? Rooms were pretty empty there.... ;)
