Blackjack / Shrouded Set Disenchanting (Besides Gloves)

Greetings! Apologies if these have been requested far too often, but I did a search and I couldn't find any requests that were exactly like mine.

 

Well, to begin, I was wondering if it would be possible at this point in time to create a non-lethal truncheon, à la the Thief series. My idea was to have a small Blackjack (torch/mace model?) that deals very little damage (1~5, perhaps), which, upon successfully performing a sneak attack (for balancing; probably requires some scripting, which may be a problem without the actual CK), will cause a prolonged paralysis effect, possibly several minutes in duration.

Secondly, I was hoping someone could attempt to make a mod that allows us to choose which piece of the Ancient Shourded set -- as well as the regular version of it -- could be disenchanted (through multiple ESPs, for example). If not, then at least a premade disenchanted set, with the exception of the gloves, as I would rather keep the Backstab bonus.

 

I realize that this mod right here exists, but it lacks the specific disenchantment I'm looking for. Also, the author hasn't updated since Nov. 21st, and hasn't responded to comments since the 20th, and the similar mods such as the Nightingale sets using the Backstab bonus are being reported by users as being bugged.

 

If anyone could try their hand at either or both of these for me, I would be really grateful and appreciative.

I like the idea of the truncheon. It would definitely have to be a scripted effect, to be sure; I'd suggest it paralyze for five minutes real-time (I believe that parses out to 300 seconds, which is the duration of a lot of long-duration effects in game) and disable the target's ability to detect (they're out like a light, they're not gonna spot you dumping the whole jewelry box into a bag). Possibly also make it not incur assault charges or bounty unless someone else sees you do it. When they come to, have them go into Alert Mode on the spot.

 

It'd be neat to be able to clonk out a guard hanging around the front of a fort and slip by without alarm. Or knock the head Orc of a stronghold silly while his back is turned, yoink his key, and be into the vault and out again with all the loot before he wakes up. It'd be both self-balancing-- since they're not dead (unless you mercilessly slaughtered them while they were unconscious), if you're still around they're gonna start hunting for you, which means you'll have to fight 'em anyway--and character-wise a great way to play a non-murderous thief, someone who just wants all the shiny stuff in your pocket, but doesn't care to turn you into a corpse to do it.

Why, I do like those suggestions you made. Didn't think about toggling the victim's detection on and off once struck successfully. Five minutes seems fair for the duration as well, I suppose. Possibly making the target essential for the duration might also help take away from player abuse of the prolonged paralysis, though I imagine it could cause unwanted effects, occasionally. But yeah, I would love to try non-killing, stealth runs while raiding a manor, encampment, etc.

 

Now let's cross our fingers and hope someone is willing to give this a shot (assuming it's possible via FOMM/TESsnip, etc.).

Couldn't you say that for any mod, really? But that doesn't stop the modders who have made decent ESPs already, without it.
