Sheogorath2010
I'm trying to download the midas magic mod, but when i try to extract the files using winrar, i get an error message saying: The system cannot find the file specified. I used to add mods to some other games, but its been a while and i dont really remember. Heres exactly what i do: i right click the MidasSpells.esp, select: extract files to specified folder, then i find my oblvion folder, open that up and click on the data folder. then the error box comes up. I may be doing something totally wrong, and i apologize for my noobiness/stupidity but please be patient with me..im kinda new to this any help would be appreciated. batlham
try extracting files by right clicking on the rar file and select "Extract to <midas file name>"It will make a folder in the same directory as the rar file. Then move the files inside the new folder to the oblivion data folder... If you are using Windows Vista... there is some new wierd security that stops program from altering files in the Programs Files folder. You can right click on the oblivion folder..get properties...then edit permisions...give your user name and any other groups/users full access...It solved a few of my problems

Sheogorath2010
well i guess it worked but there are huge yellow diamonds everywhere with blue exclamation points inside them. are there any other requirements for this besides the patch?
