Dan3345
I can say now I have. Last night I was sitting at my desk as always, but I guess I pinched a nerve or cut off circulation without realizing... By the time I got off for the night my right pinky and the uppermost part of my hand were numb and they have been ever since. Not really sure what to do. I can move it just fine, just doesn't feel right..
Werne
It will pass, you probably just pinched a nerve, it's no big deal. Though it's still better then the problem I had, my whole left arm was numb for a week. Edited December 2, 2011 by Werne
Dan3345
Is there anything I can do to help it get back to normal faster? It's very annoying :P
mythicdawnmaster
Well if my arm gets numb or something, i just move it around a lot, it creates a weird sensation and then the numbness passes. i dont know if it will work but worth a try maybe?
greywaste
I had something similar , in my case it was little finger and on to the hand a little, lasted about a month, started worrying, woke up one morning and it was fine again *shrug*

Beriallord
I slammed my finger in a heavy steel drawer one time, it swelled up pretty good and I lost the finger nail. It was numb for about 3 days. The nerve endings were actually damage permanently in that finger, and I still can't feel pain on the tip of that finger. I can take a lighter and hold it under a flame for 10 secs, and can't feel anything. I got full mobility of that finger, I just got no feeling on about 1/4 inch on the tip of it. Balagor
If it does not go away by it self with in a short period of time, I suggest you go see a doctor. My little finger on both hands are totally numb, and have been so for 5 years. Don´t know what ever started it. Doctor says if I want something done now, each hand will need a surgery, after wich I can not use the hand for about 6 weeks. (God I hope my nose will not itch)
elvinkun
Well, since everyone shares scary stories of numbness...One day I woke up and couldn't feel or move my left arm at all...For three days and got it numb for another week. Turns out that I slept in a weird position on my arm and blocked one of the arteries and strongly limited bloodflow in the arm for several hours. Was told there are even documented cases where people lost an arm due to bad sleeping position, but didn't really got close to that. But I never really slept so sound ever since, since I always fall asleep with an image of blue-greyish cold hand in my mind.
