Mods don't work together/ Mod listing

This is my first post in this forum so if i am doing smth. wrong or posting my topic in the wrong Place please, tell me :)

 

Now to my problem:

I downloaded Far Harbour yesterday and could finally install all the mods with FH restrictions I wanted to play with. After a long time of sorting all my mods, I am now able to play without cdt befor I even get to the MENU.

 

Problem now is: Homemaker content as well as the Minutemen overhaul content/textures and some other parts that Settlement Keywords expanded is managing is missing, the recepies are still there, but no "Thumbnail" and no ingame model...

I had the same problem before the FH installation, but could fix it by installing all the mods then SKE and then clicking "yes, to all" by the override question.

Now it is useless.

I already tried using LOOT to sort my list of mods but then I end up with ctd before menu again.

Settlement Keywords Expanded has not been update recently, but Homemaker has.

The same author has been updating both, but did not update SKE.

 

So reinstall Homemaker, and let it overwrite SKE when asked.

I do not use Minutemen Overhaul so I do not know how it interacts with SKE, and Homemaker.

Ah Ok, so I need to wait til SKE is updated...

Minutemen Overhaul and a few others are also integrated in SKE with a patch. That could be the reason.

 

I just wait till it is updated and see what happens.

If you install homemaker first and after SKE and select the needed patches in the ske installation screen you can have both running fine even without SKE being updated.

 

Personally i use ALLdlc and let it organize everything with both homemaker and OCD inside SKE.

 

If hes seeing the recipe but not other data...something else is wrong or OVERwritten .

 

If it was a conflict of the mods he would lose everything not just the nifs (maybe even a whole category).

 

Maybe a bad uninstall of a mod...or even a corrupt data folder from changing mods .

 

When we uninstall using our mod managers it doesnt mean that the mod is 100% gone......sometimes it replaces/overwrites files and they never come back even if you uninstall BUT you have results like above with MISSING meshes etc...

 

I would suggest a clean install of the game... or verify its data through steam...

I am using both. Install SKE first, use the same options with Homemaker. Let it overwrite SKE, and disable the SKE files that do the same thing.

Every thing from Homemaker shows up for me.

 

In all honesty Settlement Keywords is no longer a needed mod. If not for Homemaker, and one other I would not be using it.

@greekrage, @bill8872 - Ok I will try that now hopefully it works.

 

Seems like it doesn't work for me..

Homemaker menus are still missing as well as beds from campside, all Minutemen textures from the Minutemen overhaul, and the NPC mercenaries from General of the army.

 

@greekrage, looking at your load order, you are missing some of the mods that are causing my problems, so I assume that it is a conflict between mods, all of which are connected to SKE and part of its sub menus..

Could it be an error with my sorting of the mods?

Because, now I can play the game but the some are missing, but when I sort them differently, the game ctd.

First thing I noticed is the lack of compatibility patches for Homemaker. You need to get the patches to make it run with almost anything. Your other choice is to dump it. I decided that loading my mods with compatibility patches wasn't worth the headache. (That and the CTD it caused.) Keeping mods up to date is a good thing.
