Jedted
There's no ME2 forum on Nexus Mods so i thought i'd ask this here. It always annoyed me how low res the portrait is in Shepard's cabin. This is probably easy to mod so i was hoping someone could point me toward which file to edit to change the LI pictures? Thanks! IceEclipse
You can use ME3 Explorer. From there create a tree for your ME2 game, then load up Texplorer and you should be able to modify the textures manually by exporting them to Photoshop or whatever you image editing preference is, and then reimporting it through the TPF tool. [Warning: It is better to save changed textures to a TARGA or other image file and then convert them using ME3's image converter tool and then load the converted image through TPF tools in ME3 Explorer. I've found that saving the files manually in photoshop and going for a direct file exchange in Texplorer usually results in an image that's cut in half. Or if it's not cut in half, sometimes the MIP maps don't match anyways.]It's more work than it seems but if you're looking to make simple edits, like changing the squad character icons or in this case the romance option image on your desk, it takes all of maybe five minutes and that's if you're taking breaks. That said, I had a perusal through the texture files and I didn't see anything specific for the picture in Shepard's cabin. I'm assuming it could just be the squad icon being stretched over a mesh. So maybe increasing the squad icon resolution might help?
