LE Hardcore mode

I would like to see some kind of hardcore mode similar to New Vegas where you get hungry and tired so you have to eat and sleep.

I would suggest different tweaks regarding the race of a player. I.E. a Nord has standart values compared to him an Argonian should be more hungry and less tire-able a Khajit might be vice versa less hungry but more tired.

So that there are differences between the Races. Also If you are Werewolf or Vamp it should get extreme.

Werewolf: Never Tired but extreme hungry

Vamp: Never hungry and never tired at night but always tired at day regardless of sleep.

 

Just a few thoughts i´ve had.

 

Also i would like to request a mod which lets me choose and unchoose right handed spells like weapons. Its a pain in the A. to always equip and deequip a weapon in order to get a free right hand where i can then set a new spell.

You aren't the only one who wants a hardcore mod. I found that as fun as the game was, going from New Vegas to Skyrim was kind of a jarringly easy transition, especially since they actually chose to make some aspects (like health and weapon degradation) streamlined. Even Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation added a little sentence in his Skyrim review end credit sequence about wanting one.

 

It would definitely put a use to all the food, mead and potions in the game (which would make cooking and alchemy much more important to me), and it would mean beds that aren't totally useless for people that are currently stuck being werewolves for a while. Weird that there are various graphics and skin mods, but no one has made a hardcore mod after several weeks. It was easily my favorite mod for Fallout 3 (next to iron sights, extra damage, sprint and water bottling mods).

Yes. I've always been a fan of hunger/thirst systems.

 

Hows about when you get thirsty, you can't use your shouts "Your throat is dry and weak. Go drink some mead!"

When your hungry, you can't sprint or do power attacks "Your stomach rumbles, and your arm fails. Your starving. Get some damn bread."

And when your tired, your screen darkens. "You can't even keep your eyes open. It's W-A-Y past your bedtime."

I agree on the hardcore mode, would add another depth of realism to the game and I liked it a lot in New Vegas. This is likely going to require the CK though, and / or some really clever scripting to pull off. I think they made a mod for in in Oblivion though I can't remember, and if so it will likely pop up here sooner or later its just a matter of time.
