Can't continue thieves guild quest-line

So after having searched the internet for 45 min, I'm at a loss.

 

The quest line I'm doing is the thieves guild and more spesificly Dampened Spirits.

After I've done the actual quest and talked to maven, it tells me to go speak with Brynjolf.

When I speak with Brynjolf, he gives me the dialog, completes my quest, but doesn't give me the next quest.

In the dialog he says I should speak with mercer. After that, he's just "Got important buisniss to take care of, lass".

 

So I try to speak to mercer, but he only gives me that generic line. No dialog, no option, no quest.

 

Loaded my game, and tried again, and after about 6-7 times, I figured that didn't help.

 

So I started trying to fix it with console. Did a Setstage Tg03 200 to complete the previous quest, worked absolutly fine.

However when I do Setstage TG04 1 or 0, Nothing happens...Tried going to other rooms, loading, restarting the game, etc etc.

 

From what I can gather, Setstage doesn't change the stage at all for Tg04. I tried to use Getstage, and it still said 0 after I changed the stage about 10 times.

 

 

If anyone has ANY kind of idea, what to do. Please help :)
