Kodiak412
For any of the people that have gone the Open Season path and killed the Raiders. What happens to the Red Rocket settlement as far a settlers go? Right now I have the Operators in there, but who moves in if the Raiders were wiped out. Are they vanilla settlers from the CW or new Nuka World settlers? Also do you still have roving bands of the old Raiders after Open Season? I originally went the Open Season route but never got to the Red Rocket. The place seemed so empty I used the Skip HSH quest mod to keep the Raiders alive but confined to NW. This isn't the greatest either so I may go back to the Open Season quest but I am still wondering about that Red Rocket and its settlers. Any reply with information is greatly appreciated. Moraelin
Well, I dunno what happens if you already gave it to some raiders, but otherwise it's just a normal settlement spot. I would assume you can still kill the raiders and put a normal recruitment beacon there, same as everywhere else. As for the groups of raiders you find attacking the shovel museum or such, yes, that continues.
TheGadget1945
I have just enabled it last night and I have had two settlers turn up, both women and both your average commonwealth settlers. There are already some crops there and plenty of flat (well flat by Fallout standards) land.It seems to share a glitch with my main game whereby whatever I build it doesn't show up on the build size bar but I will keep it all low level as it is basically a nice looking place. TheGadget1945
Just had my first attack last night and there were 3 Pack with a few more in the houses north of the Red Rocket.
Kodiak412
Here is what I have observed with a Non Raider settlement at the Nuka World Red Rocket. Also of note is that I use Better Settlers so that may have something to do with any issues. Up the hill from the Red Rocket (RR) is a broken down house with a pool. This is one of the "Conflict" zones. If you leave the RR cell and return you will often here a battle going on up there. It will be one of the defeated raider gangs against the Gunners, Super Muts or Scavengers. If you do not have defenses set up to draw their attention they will not come down to the RR but you can draw their attention and they will chase you. Unfortunately the normal regular settlers (non raider) will perform as they should except for speaking. You will not hear conversation among themselves and they will not speak to you if you walk by. The normal "You look dangerous" "Empty stomach" etc never gets spoken. They just look at you (sometimes) as they walk by. I even turned off the CW recruitment beacon and consoled in a CW settler. I assigned her to the Nuka World Red Rocket settlement in the menu like normal, but even she did not speak with the normal chat. I would be curious to hear if any others see this same Non Conversation "bug" from any non Raider settlers at the NWRR. Now I have 4 female settlers that showed up one at a time from the recruitment beacon and I consoled in a female. Maybe females are what you get with non raiders. TheGadget1945
This place is crazy ! I built a new guard tower facing the house with the front caved in and I had no sooner connected a Missile Turret and a Heavy Laser Turret than some Super Mutants and Raiders spawned and all hell broke loose. I have a few of my 13 settlers in Heavy Combat Armor but it looks like they will all have to be dressed like that , probably Polymer so I can see them in the dark. Moraelin
Give them mining helmets if you want to see them in the dark.
speedynl
as for the settlers don't say anything i think beth screwed up that with form-id's( but wats new), there are 3 for (dlc04)workshop dialogue, i added all dialogue files to all 3 forms and the settlers in nuka(rr) speak like they always do, most funny thing was after 2 min or so this dum settler walks up to me and ask for help, those damn green skins, well f'it they where in commonweld, the otherside of the world nice work beth
HandofBobb
Wierd- so I went along with the main path up through Power Play, because I wanted to experience as much of the DLC storyline as possible- I used the mod to skip raiding my own settlements, did Power Play to turn the lights on, and then I took out the other two gangs. I only activated the RR after completing Open Season, but it's still showing on the map as a Raider outpost (the Skull icon), not the normal RR icon that others are reporting. I havent set up a recruitment beacon just yet, as I was short the materials to make one, so I don't know who will show up there, but I tried sending a supply line there from back in the commonwealth and it's not showing as an option- is that just the way it normally is, or is that because my game is still showing it as a Raider outpost?and if it's the second, is there a way to change it's alignment?
